Ho avuto per anni l’idea di scrivere un blog, per farmi conoscere meglio dai miei clienti, amici, o da chiunque abbia voglia di sapere cosa c’èdietro al mio lavoro di fotografa.
Chi già mi conosce sa che sono una persona introversa. 

Ho sempre amato sedermi a scrivere delle riflessioni, ma non amo condividere quotidianità, selfie, backstage. 

I social media non sono “la mia tazza di té”, per usare un’espressione inglese. 
Mettendomi però nei panni di un potenziale cliente, penso sia importante farmi conoscere non solo tramite le foto che scatto, ma anche come persona. 

Un set fotografico è un’ esperienza che non riguarda solo lo scattare delle foto. C’è molto lavoro prima, che comprende il capire le esigenze, i gusti, lo stile, far quadrare un budget, organizzare, prevedere eventuali contrattempi, mettere assieme molte menti creative e farle lavorare come un’orchestra. 

Tutto confluisce nella giornata di scatti, che, se organizzata bene, diventa una giornata indimenticabile e di grandi soddisfazioni.

For years I thought about writing a blog, to let anyone see what’s behind the curtain of my job as a photographer.

If you know me personally, you’ll know that I am an introvert. I always loved to sit and write my thoughts, but always avoided sharing daily life, selfies, backstage etc.
Social media are not my cup of tea. Trying to wear a client’s pair of shoes, I tought it was important to let him/her know me! Not only through the pictures, but also as a person. A photographic set is whole experience which is not limited to “taking pictures”. There’s a lot to work to do before, which includes: understanding needs, tastes, style, balancing the budget, organising, being ahead of unexpected faith, put together various creative minds and make them work together as an orchestra. 

It all merge in the shooting day, and if you’ve been working well, that day will be unforgettable and very satisfying.
